Are You Pregnant and Scared?

It can come as a complete shock when you find out you’re pregnant. So many things run through your mind. You may be trying to figure out how to tell your parents you are pregnant as well as the guy who got you pregnant.

Being pregnant and scared is normal whether it is planned or not. Every woman goes through a time in her pregnancy when she’s afraid.

However, you may be feeling a bit terrified if your pregnancy wasn’t planned. You have to basically figure out what you’re going to do.

Your life is about to change drastically and you need to be prepared. Even though you’re afraid, now is the time when you should sit down and figure out what you’re going to do.

You have some choices to make and it’s up to you to figure out what happens from here on out. I know that sounds like a lot to handle right now, but it’s the truth.

There are things that you need to do in order to handle the situation. If you move along these lines, the fact that you are pregnant should become a bit less stressful.

Tell Your Parents

Your first move should probably be to tell your parents. I know that it’s a scary thought because in the back of your mind you know that they’re going to freak, but you have to tell them.

It won’t be easy trying to figure out how to tell your parents you are pregnant, but you can’t hide it forever, especially when that belly of yours starts to get bigger.

Once you do tell them you’ll feel a lot better. The situation will only get worse if you don’t tell them. Even though it’s a strong possibility that they will get mad, they love you and they will help you through your tough time.

Tell the Guy

Whether or not you want to tell your partner that you’re pregnant, you should definitely tell him. Because he had input on this too and was the one who helped make the baby, he should know.

He has responsibilities now and you want to make that loud and clear to him. Give him a chance to own up to everything. Whatever you decide to do, he has a right to be a part of the decision if he wants to.

Be Prepared

Whatever your decision may be, be sure that it’s what you want. Being pregnant is no laughing matter. There is another life involved that will look for you to take care it.

Be prepared for the good and the bad with whatever you decide to do. You need to go over every angle from top to bottom and be sure that your decision is what’s best for you and the baby.
