Are You Taking Time to Relax?

It’s been a crazy past few weeks for me. I’ve been doing so many things that I was just getting overwhelmed. I was dang near moving at the speed of light.

It never occurred to me that I needed to take a break. I mean I’m pretty used to being busy.

I never noticed that it was affecting me in my daily performances.

Because I was working so much, I barely had time for anything else. I was ignoring my family, friends, hubby and myself. It was nuts.

It wasn’t until one of my health coaches advised me to take some time off; a week to be exact. My response was, “Uh?” Oh no, lol. I couldn’t do that. Neglect my work for an entire week? Unheard of.

But I finally caved in and it felt so good doing absolutely nothing that one week turned in two weeks. Shame on me uh? Well shame on me it is. That vacation felt good and it was well worth it.

At times you need to do the same. It’s so easy to get caught up in your day to day life and forget about the world around you. When that happens, you need to take a step back and relax.
