Find The Cheapest Gas Prices With GasBuddy

If you’re a driver, then you definitely know about the soaring gas prices. I’ve definitely noticed and my wallet has too.

Just about everyone is trying to find the cheapest gas prices.

The unfortunate thing is that there’s very little that you and I alone can do about the rise of gas prices. It’s just not something that we’re in control of.

However, there is something that you can rely on when trying to find the cheapest gas prices, and that’s GasBuddy.

GasBuddy.com is a website that allows you to search for the cheapest gas prices near you. All you have to do is enter either your postal code, city or province and GasBuddy will provide you with the results you’re looking for.

Now, the cool thing is that GasBuddy has an app that you can download for your convenience. It’s simple to find. I found it by accident.

I was looking for an app that would show me some cheap gas prices so I headed over to my Android Market and searched the term “gas prices” and GasBuddy was the first option to appear.

I read up on it a bit and because I was interested in it enough, I downloaded it and you know what? I love it! The app is everything I need and more.

GasBuddy is a community of users who all work together to keep the gas prices updated. You’ll notice once you download the app that you’re able to update the gas prices yourself.

You can also see what other states, cities and provinces are currently charging for their gas. It was crazy seeing how other states were charging almost fifty cents less than my state.

You’re able to view which gas station has the cheapest gas prices, how many miles it is from you, as well as the address.

You’ll also notice how long ago the price of the gas for each station was updated, so that you’re not viewing old prices. Pretty cool uh?

You’re also able to see a map that GasBuddy displays with the actual gas station icons so that you can get a better visual of where the gas stations are located and who they are.

Overall, I give this app two thumbs up. I use it about once every 2 weeks when I need to fill up.

As I’m writing this, the Gasbuddy app has 359,964 ratings which is a 4.6 out of 5.0. It’s above average and I can see why.

If you haven’t already downloaded this app, I suggest you do. It comes in very handy if you care about how much you spend on gas. It’s available on Android, iPhone and Blackberry.

Have you already used this app? What do you think about it? Has it helped you in finding the cheapest gas prices? Comment below.
